1. Acceptance of Terms

the customer agrees to the following Cancellation, Refund, and Return Terms and Conditions, as well as the policies of the payment providers used on this website.
Payments on this site are processed through:
- Square
- PayPal
Both payment processors charge processing fees and administrative costs, which may affect the final amount of any refund.
2. Applicable Taxes (Sales Tax)
All prices shown on this website may be subject to:
- Florida State Sales Tax
- Local taxes applicable in Miami-Dade County
These taxes are mandatory and form part of the total cost of the service.
Because sales tax in the United States is a consumption tax applied at the time of purchase, it is generally non-refundable once the transaction has been processed.
For this reason:
- In case of cancellation or refund, taxes paid may not be recoverable by the company.
- If the tax has already been reported or paid to the authorities, it cannot be refunded to the customer.
3. Tour Cancellation Policy
Cancellation more than 24 hours in advance
If the customer cancels more than 24 hours before the scheduled tour time, they may be eligible for:
- a full or partial refund, or
- rescheduling the tour for another date
This will depend on service availability.
Cancellation less than 24 hours in advance
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the tour time are not eligible for a refund.
In some cases, the company may offer:
- tour rescheduling
- credit for future use
4. Duplicate or Accidental Purchases
Occasionally, customers may accidentally purchase two or more tickets for the same tour.
In these situations, the following conditions apply:
- The customer must contact support immediately to report the error.
- If the payment has already been processed, the refund will be issued after deducting:
- Square or PayPal processing fees
- applicable taxes
- administrative costs generated by the transaction
If the error results in multiple transactions, each transaction may generate:
- separate taxes
- separate payment processing fees
Because these costs cannot be recovered by the company, they will be the responsibility of the customer who made the duplicate purchase.
5. Payment Processing Fees (Square and PayPal)
All payments processed through Square or PayPal include payment processing fees.
In the event of a refund:
- payment processor fees
- transaction processing costs
- administrative expenses
may be deducted from the refund amount.
6. Refund Processing
If a refund is approved:
- it will be processed using the original payment method
- refunds may take 5 to 10 business days depending on the bank or payment provider.
The company reserves the right to offer, instead of a monetary refund:
- credit for future tours
- tour rescheduling
- travel vouchers
7. No-Show Policy
If a customer does not show up for the tour at the scheduled date and time:
- the reservation will be considered a No-Show
- no refund will be issued
8. Changes Due to External Circumstances
Miami Sightseeing Tours 2021 reserves the right to modify or cancel tours due to:
- weather conditions
- safety concerns
- operational restrictions
- circumstances beyond our control
In these cases, customers may be offered:
- tour rescheduling
- credit for another service
- full or partial refund when applicable
9. Disputes and Chargebacks
Customers agree to contact the company first before initiating:
- payment disputes
- chargebacks
- claims through the payment provider
Fraudulent or unjustified chargebacks may result in:
- administrative fees
- restriction from future purchases
- legal action if necessary
