Busch Gardens® Tampa Bay is a family-oriented theme park featuring up-close encounters with exotic animals, incredible thrill rides and live entertainment. With nearly 3,000 animals representing more than 300 species, the park’s zoological collection is a marquee attraction for families. With 10 thrilling coasters, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is known for the fastest, steepest, tallest coasters in the country. Iron Gwazi, the Parks newest and award-winning thrill ride, takes riders to new heights, plunging for 206 foot tall peak into a 91 degree drop and reaching top speeds of 76 miles per hour. Cheetah Hunt®, a triple-launch roller coaster, carries riders high above the park, and then races down along the ground through a rocky gorge. It is the park’s longest thrill ride and also innovatively integrates the coaster next to the Cheetah Run® animal habitat. Guests can get closer than ever to tigers in Jungala® and soar through the air on Montu®. And, for a behind-the-scenes look at how we care for animals, the Animal Care Center™ welcomes guests to closely observe the veterinary care and treatment we provide every day. The park also offers seasonal events including the terrifying Howl-O-Scream® and the holiday wonderland of Christmas Town™. Just across the street is the Adventure Island® water park featuring water slides, relaxing wave pools and other ways to have fun in the hot Florida sun.

Iron Gwazi takes thrills to new heights, plunging riders from a 206 foot-tall peak into a 91-degree drop and reaching top speeds of 76 miles per hour.
Phoenix Rising - Now Open
There’s nothing more exhilarating than a ride on the wings of the phoenix. Experience a fiery blaze of immersive, family-friendly excitement as you soar above the Serengeti Plain and drop into fun-filled twists and turns.
Serengeti Flyer
With each swing, riders will soar higher and higher above Busch Gardens Tampa Bay’s expansive 65-acre Serengeti Plain while experiencing multiple negative-G moments before plunging back toward the Earth. Serengeti Flyer will feature twin dueling arms that soar progressively higher reaching speeds of 68 mph and a maximum height of 135 feet at the ride’s peak. Guests will be seated back-to-back in rows of 10 across two gondolas, allowing for 40 guests to experience the ride at once.
Cobra's Curse
Come face-to-fang with this spinning roller coaster!
Imagine a coaster where no two rides are alike. You’re on it. Change your ride by changing who you ride with on this thrilling steel serpent. This one-of-a-kind roller coaster features a menacing 30,000-pound snake king and a 70-foot vertical lift that will take riders within inches of its 3 foot-wide eyes and 4-foot-long fangs. During the three-and-a-half-minute ride, the coaster trains speed along at 40 mph down 2,100 feet of serpentine-like track, traveling backward, forward and then spinning freely.
Riders will experience a new spin with each ride. Each train spins randomly, with frequency and direction determined by the rider weight distribution. This roller coaster’s air-conditioned queue naturally fuels adrenaline with an immersive themed experience and a state-of-the-art snake exhibit.
Height Restrictions: Riders must be 48” tall to ride Cobra’s Curse® alone. Riders 42” tall may ride with a responsible person 14 years of age or older.

Climb high into the air and hold on for a twisting drop, a 60-foot vertical loop, an Immelmann loop and a weightless roll and that’s only the beginning on this inverted roller coaster. Montu has seven inversions, an unique Batwing inversion and was the first coaster in the world to incorporate an Immelmann loop (a simultaneous loop and roll), named for a German fighter pilot.

Falcon's Fury
It’s one thing to drop 300 feet. It’s a whole other for your seat to pivot 90° – then drop you face-first at 60 mph.
The height Falcon’s Fury® reaches offers an incredible view stretching well past downtown Tampa and encompassing all of Busch Gardens. The ride takes about a minute until riders get to its peak, giving plenty of time to enjoy the landscape.
Like a falcon, riders then pivot 90 degrees in midair to a face-down dive position at 300 feet in the air. An instant later they’ll plunge 60 mph straight down! It’s an immediate, heart-pounding thrill inspired by skydiving – and the comparisons are obvious from that vantage point.
