Holocaust Memorial Miami Beach

Originally called Royal Palm Park, Bayfront Park was the Greater Miami community’s first public gathering space.

The Holocaust Memorial Miami Beach serves as a permanent reminder of the six million Jews that perished at the hands of the Nazi regime during 1933 to 1945.

Located on the corner of Meridian Avenue and Dade Boulevard, the memorial, designed by Kenneth Treister, features a series of outdoor spaces that are highlighted by the centerpiece bronze sculpture of an outstretched hand tattooed with an Auschwitz number surrounded by bronze figures of victims and the Memorial Wall, where survivors and their families can pay homage to loved ones who lost their lives during the Holocaust.

The memorial is free and open to the public from 9:30 am to sunset. A brochure is available for self-guided tours. Group tours are also available with advance two week reservations.
